The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) opened a regional office in Maputo on Tuesday to coordinate projects in Mozambique, South Africa and Botswana.
The information was revealed yesterday in Maputo by IFAD President Kanayo Nwanze at the end of a meeting with Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosário of Mozambique.
Nwanze noted that the establishment of a regional office in Mozambique was evidence of the organization’s commitment to the Mozambican food production agenda.
