Mozambique: Islamic State claims responsibility for killing nine soldiers
Folha de Maputo
The pier deck at Inhaca Island, one of Maputo’s municipal districts, collapsed early at dawn today, Wednesday, probably because of the combined effects of the wind that night and its advanced state of disrepair.
According to Folha de Maputo sources, there were no casualties.
Meanwhile, a press release from the Ministry of Transport and Communications last week announced weight restrictions on the Maputo-Catembe crossing owing to the state of the metal structure at the two berths.
The Maputo-Catembe restrictions limit vehicles to a gross weight of four tons.
