The Council of Ministers yesterday approved amendments to the Commercial Code aimed at improving the business environment, through standards which allow more flexibility, reduce bureaucracy and simplify procedures.
The Council of Ministers session also analysed an annual report on drug trafficking and consumption focussing on government’s actions to prevent and combat drug trafficking and use, in which the government sees positive results.
The government also approved the regulation of programmes and projects to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, conservation and increase of carbon stocks.
The government also analysed the report on the visit of President Nyusi to Gaza province, and approved the revision of the decree creating the National Peace and Reconciliation Fund.
