The Sustenta project is distributing various agricultural seeds to small commercial and emerging farmers as well as small farmers’ associations. In all, about 3,000 seed kits will be distributed.
There are 13 emerging small commercial farmers with an approved business plan for the reception of agricultural seed kits in Zambézia province. Each beneficiary is required to assist 200 small farmers.
Of the seeds, the highlight goes to corn, soybeans and bóer beans. The producers are satisfied with the initiative.
The beneficiaries of the agricultural seed kits come from Alto-Molocué, Gilé, Gurué and Mocuba, districts covered by the sustenta project.Source: O País
