Apparently, sounds of grinders at work were common in this house.
One eye witness testified: “Three men came with a grinder and began using it, but I didn’t pay much attention to what was going on. Then heard an explosion and saw a huge fire. I took the children to hide in Mrs. Virginia’s house. When I looked more closely, I saw one man with his leg blown off. They say the leg is in the neighbour’s yard.”Source: Miramar
