Sao Tome: Country joins Africa Finance Corporation
Angolan President Joao Lourenco created, by order, the Interministerial Commission to review the Expropriations Law, tasked to define the set of procedural rules to be followed by the Administration in matters of expropriation for public utility.
According to a press release from the President’s Civil Office on Tuesday in Luanda, with the creation of this commission, it is intended to provide a more updated legal regime to the expropriation institute so that, within the special programs of conversion and urban facelift project in some parts of the country, the expropriation procedure should be appropriate to the current socioeconomic reality.
Lourenco appointed the State Minister and Head of President’s Civil Office to coordinate the referred commission.
The said commission has 120 days to carry out its work, followed by the delivery and approval of the final mission report.
