EGPAF is recruiting a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Advisor for Maputo in Mozambique.


The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) works in partnership with the Ministry of Health to support the Vertical Transmission Prevention (PMTCT) and Antiretroviral Care and Treatment (ART)
The mission of the Foundation is to ensure the inclusion of children by preventing the transmission of HIV from the mother to her child and guaranteeing them access to quality services

Support in the design, management and dissemination of strategic information
Ensure the implementation of the monitoring and evaluation system
Ensure performance of data quality improvement activities
Support provinces in the timely preparation of reports to enable them to undergo HR and donor within the established deadlines
Train and provide technical assistance to the provincial / MISAU / DPS / SMSMAS teams in the area of ​​M & E and in the area of ​​quality and methodologies of data use for the improvement of services
Support the provinces in the design of quality improvement plans
Support the creation of databases for operational research
Support research on sampling design
Train and provide technical assistance to provincial teams / MISAU / DPS / SMSMAS

Higher Level (Public Health, Statistics or related areas)
Minimum of three years of work experience in the health sector, particularly in the area of ​​HIV / AIDS
Experience in developing and managing database and reporting systems
Experience in research, specifically elaboration of database and analysis
Experience in the area of ​​M & A, including database management and analysis
Good analytical skills
Written and oral communication skills in Portuguese and English will be an advantage
Facilitation skills and team development
Knowledge of one of the following database applications (EpiInfo, SPSS, Access, Stata)
Knowledge of the HIV Program Information System (E_PTS / OpenMRS)
Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
Knowledge and experience with research methods
