Megathorne presents Summer Party
The Mute Band
The Mute Band is the name of a live music project founded by Nandele, a "beat maker" who debuted with the psychedelic EP - "Argolas Deliciosas" and ode to the great J. Dilla. Released in digital format through Kongoloti Records, the project was the catalyst for the formation of the band. A band without vocalists, hence the name "The Mute Band". With a dynamic base structured around sampling, the band takes their audience on a sound journey through hip-hop with psychedelic atmospheres, bringing them a new and exciting experience. A team of 4 members, with 2 winners, Nandele and Fu Da Siderurgia in samples and sound effects, Helton on drums and embryo on bass. Though unique in their own ways, their journeys converged, and their common goals and interests united these 4 men with a passion for "Awesome Beats." Shuch beats that he must communicate with the inhabitants of this planet and many other galaxies ... The Mute Band in their three-year tour will tour the neighborhoods in grazing homes such as Mulombela, Jazz Spoon, Ambients bar, Ascending Bar. After the success of the tour in the neighborhoods were invited to participate in shows for events such as Kugoma the international short film festival at the Bar Gil Vicente, were at the We Love Dub event, performed at the Franco Mozambican Cultural Center for the Feast of the Music, were part of the Kongoloti Sessions at Teatro Avenida, made a performance in the show after the Azgo Festival which they opened for an Australian band Kingfisha at the Gil Vicente coffee bar.
