M’laio band- Lecticia Deozina presents Afro concert, jazz: Mutuma
M'laio- Chope, meaning to the moral equivalent of adjustment to the spiritual and mental paradigm or, to the teachings, rules and laws, is where the name of the band arises, although there are several factors that tend to deregulate these devices. There are several words that define or, at least, lead us to think about the why of the times that cross us. Melancholy; boredom; depression; absence of existential meaning; loss of values - are some of the signposts found in a scenario where today's crisis is not only one of the traditional moral frameworks bequeathed by the great religious currents but also of the secular values that came to replace them like science, progress and so many others. Art being the terrain where human culture grows and develops; where the supplements of life are revealed and the existential element is questioned, the Band M'Laio gives a careful reflection as well as the duty to investigate through music the sign of the times, and interpret them in the light of an aesthetic that makes the elements of the past and the present coexist. In addition, the definition of our time as anti-tradition, radicalized and assuming unquestionably unprecedented proportions throughout history, compromises and weakens the existence of a common basis of collective evidence for social interaction. It is looking at this scenario that the band finds its vector to make sense of the music that is wanted by the style - unique and innovative - without losing the sense of tradition and national belonging, making us realize that art is an open space and articulated to other modes of relation to truth.
