How is AFIM structured?

1) General Assembly

AFIM is governed by a General Assembly comprised of all members. Currently, the
Presidency of this assembly is as follows:

President: Lance Khumalo - Unilever Moçambique, Limitada

Vice-president: Gerry Marketos – Cimpogest, Limitada

2) Committees:

a. The Management Committee:

Chairperson: Adrian Frey - Mozlegal, Limitada (Adrian.frey@mozlegal.com);

Deputy Chairperson: Innocent Jam - Coca Cola Sabco (Moçambique) SARL;

Executive Board Members: José Moreira - Cervejas de Mocambique, SARL; José
Figueiredo – Mozal, SARL; Jan Jonsson – Maputo Port Development Company, SARL;
Jan Stander – Sasol, Limitada.

3) Task Forces:

In order to more effectively manage the activities of the association, and to promote the involvement of as many members as possible, three task forces were established. Members are encouraged to join the task forces to deepen their knowledge in the different areas covered. Currently, their constitution is as follows:

a. Finance Task Force

Coordinator: Jan Stander – Sasol, Limitada

b. The Employment Relations Task Force

Coordinator: José Figueiredo – Mozal, SARL

c. Illicit Trade Task Force:

Coordinator: Adrian Frey – Mozlegal, Limitada
